STYLE OF FOOD:
Traditional and authentic Salvadoran cuisine is the Zpotes specialty! Scratch made pupusas (handmade corn tortillas with fillings such as meat and cheese) are the star of the menu along with the plantains and empanadas!
Joel’s culinary passion goes back to the days in El Salvador when their grandmother (Niña Martha) cooked and mother ( Miriam) took the family mobile food cart out to sell. Years later in California, the family kept the tradition going at local soccer games. Upon arriving in Arizona, Miriam opened her first Salvadoran Restaurant in 2002. Her dream has expanded to 5 Restaurants in the Phoenix Valley plus Joel’s Food Truck. It always has been and always will be a family ran business!
The menu at Zpotes is filled with new culinary experiences but the pupusas are our must have menu item when we find this food truck! They are made fresh from scratch daily and are as authentic as if you were strolling down the streets of El Salvador!
